Biking Trails in Pitt Meadows

Biking.pngPitt meadows and its neighbor Maple Ridge offer cycling trails to bikers of all level. One can enjoy biking on different terrains, tree-lined lanes and famous dykes which can be accessed through major roads. Whether you are biking to race or exercise, surely you can find any of these lanes interesting to try.

Hawk Rotary Loop
Length: 17 kms

Description:
Tree-lined, flat lanes located west of Pitt  Meadows. The loop encircles Lougheed Highway, to the Pitt and Fraser Rivers and through downtown with numerous dyke access. Wildlife sightings can be spotted occasionally as well as planes taking off at the Pitt Meadows Regional Airport.

Osprey Rotary Loop
Length: 11 kms

Description:
Bring your camera on this 11 km route north of Pitt Meadows. Enjoy diverse scenes of the Alouette and Pitt Rivers. Asphalt, dirt and gravel lanes also add challenge to your biking experience.

Blue Heron Loop
Length: 19 kms

Description:
This trail is located north of Lougheed Highway, which is mostly of wide and clean terrains. You can also enjoy bird watching and some uneven terrains from the dyke accesses.

Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows Bicycle Advisory Committee  addresses cycling concerns to the Councils and make sure that the Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows Bikeways Plan is implemented.

Ridge Meadows BMX provides local, provincial and national racing opportunities for kids and adults. Race the Ridge is the most premier event hosted by this organization.

The Experience Cycle (ECC) - AIK Riding Club is where you can meet athletes, gain friends and share experiences and insights as a group who just love biking.
